According to Shi'a Islam, did Fatimah (daughter of Prophet Muhammad) die naturally, or was she killed?
According to Shia Islam, there is a belief that Fatimah, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad, did not die a natural death but was rather killed. Various narrations and historical accounts within Shia sources suggest that her death was a result of the injuries she sustained after an altercation involving those who sought to claim leadership after the Prophet's passing.
For instance, it is reported in Al-Kafi that Fatimah expressed her distress following the Prophet's death, stating, By Allah, I will not speak to you about it
Al-Kafi 1:1438. This reflects her profound sorrow and the circumstances surrounding her demise. Additionally, Shia scholars emphasize that her death was a result of the hostility she faced during the early days of the Islamic community, which they cite as a reason for her premature passing.
The sentiment surrounding her death is deeply tied to the broader context of her life and the events that unfolded after her father's death, illustrating the significant emotional and political turmoil of that period.

Al-Kafi 1:1438
Al-Kafi · Book 1, Hadith 1438 · Narrated by one of the Imams (a.s.)
I said, 'We see a man who worships, strives, and humbles himself, yet does not speak the truth. Will that benefit him in any way?' He said, 'O Abu Muhammad, the example of the People of the House is like a family among the Children of Israel. None of them strived forty nights except he called and was answered. But a man from them strove forty nights, called and was not answered, so he came to Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) to complain and ask for prayer. Jesus purified himself and prayed, then prayed to God who revealed to him, "O Jesus, My servant has come to Me not by the door I have given him. He called Me while harboring doubt about you. Were he to call Me until his neck was cut and his fingers scattered, I would not respond to him." Jesus turned to him and said, "You call your Lord while you doubt His Prophet?" He replied, "O Spirit of God and His Word, it has been so; pray to God to remove this doubt from me." Jesus prayed for him and God forgave him and accepted him, setting him among the People of his Household.'
