Can I listen to Qur'an when going to sleep?
Yes, it is permissible to listen to the Qur'an when going to sleep. There are narrations that indicate the practice of reciting or listening to the Qur'an at night. For instance, Aisha reported: I asked Aisha how the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited the Qur'an at night, whether aloud or quietly. She said: 'He did both—sometimes he recited aloud and sometimes silently.'
Sunan an-Nasa'i 20:65. This shows that the Prophet ﷺ engaged with the Qur'an in various ways during the night.
Additionally, in Al-Kafi, it is narrated that Whoever recites the Verse of the Throne at bedtime will not fear the splitting one, God willing. Whoever recites it after every obligatory prayer, no feverish illness will harm him.
Al-Kafi 3:80. This highlights the protective benefits associated with reciting specific verses of the Qur'an before sleep.
Thus, not only is it allowed to listen to the Qur'an at night, but doing so can also bring spiritual benefits and protection.

Ayub ibn Nuh wrote to Abu al-Hasan (peace be upon him) asking about Allah, exalted and mighty: Did He know things before He created and fashioned them, or did He not know until He created and willed them? He knew what He created as He created it and what He willed as He willed it. He signed by his handwriting, "Allah has always been knowledgeable of things before He created them, just as He knows things after having created them." — OR — Whoever recites the Verse of the Throne at bedtime will not fear the splitting one, God willing. Whoever recites it after every obligatory prayer, no feverish illness will harm him. Whoever places "Say: He is Allah, the One" between himself and an oppressor, Allah will prevent harm from that oppressor from before him, behind him, to his right, and to his left. When he does so, Allah will grant him His goodness and protect him from His evil. And if you fear something, recite one hundred verses of the Qur'an from wherever you wish, then say: 'O Allah, remove affliction from me' three times. — OR — I said, 'May God make you righteous: whoever loves to meet God, God loves to meet him; and whoever hates to meet God, God hates to meet him.' He said, 'Yes.' I said, 'By God, we dislike death.' He said, 'That is not where you go, but that is at the moment of witnessing—when he sees what he loves, there is nothing more beloved to him than to hasten to meet. God Almighty loves meeting Him, and He loves to meet God at that moment; and if he sees what he dislikes, there is nothing more hateful to him than to meet God, and God hates meeting him.' — OR — I said to Abu Abdullah (peace be upon him): I took a piece from a tile of the station (Maqam) and some soil from around the House and seven stones. He said: What you have done is detestable. As for the soil and stones, return them. — OR — In some of his sayings, the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) said: "The wild beasts' concern is their bellies, but women's concern is men." — OR — Regarding a man who gives money to another to buy a slave and free him, it was said to Abu Ja'far: It is not permissible. — OR — Regarding a mad woman who committed fornication, he said: She does not control her actions and no punishment is upon her.
