Is a Muslim allowed to use a Ventoline inhaler or similar medicine inhaler during Ramadan?
In addressing whether a Muslim can use a Ventoline inhaler or similar medicine inhaler during Ramadan, we can refer to a narration from Al-Kafi. In this narration, it is reported that someone asked about using eye drops during fasting. The response given was, He should drop them after breaking the fast, but not while fasting.
Al-Kafi 2:174 This implies a general principle regarding the use of substances that enter the body during fasting.
Regarding inhalers, scholars may differ in their opinions. Some argue that using such inhalers may break the fast since they deliver medication directly to the lungs, while others may allow it if it is essential for the person's health. Thus, it is advisable for anyone considering using an inhaler while fasting to consult a knowledgeable scholar or authority in their community for personalized guidance based on their health needs.

Al-Kafi · Book 2, Hadith 174
Everyone has a period of slackness and a period of guidance. Whoever's slackness leads to the Sunnah has been rightly guided, and whoever's slackness leads to innovation has gone astray. — OR — I saw Abdullah ibn Jundab standing in prostration; I have never seen a better posturing than his. He kept his hands raised to the sky with tears streaming down his cheeks until they reached the ground. When the people left, I said to him, 'O Abu Muhammad, I have never seen a posture better than yours.' He said, 'By Allah, I prayed only for my brothers. Abu al-Hasan Musa (peace be upon him) informed me that whoever prays for his brother in his absence will be called from the Throne with a hundred thousand times the reward, so I disliked praying one hundred thousand guaranteed prayers for one person when I did not know if they would be accepted or not.' — OR — I asked him about someone with eye inflammation (rāmad) during Ramadan, whether he can put drops in his eye during the day while fasting. He said, 'He should drop them after breaking the fast, but not while fasting.' — OR — I heard him say: No tyrant exists except that with him is a believer who protects the believers against him by God's power. This believer has the least share in the Hereafter, meaning he is the least rewarded among the believers for being in the company of the tyrant. — OR — He said: Whichever of the two precedes her, her waiting period is concluded. If three months pass without seeing blood, her waiting period is over. And if three menstrual cycles pass, her waiting period is also over. — OR — A woman does not inherit from the estate of her deceased husband from the land of a house or soil, except that the bricks and wood are evaluated in value and she is given a quarter or an eighth of that value if she has children, from the value of bricks, wood beams, and timber.
