Was Jesus (PBUH) married?
The Qur'an does not explicitly state whether Jesus (PBUH) was married. However, it provides vital information regarding his nature and role. In Surah An-Nisaa, it proclaims: O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not 'Three' - Cease! (it is) better for you! - Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.
4:171.
This verse emphasizes Jesus's status as a messenger, and it explicitly denies any notion of him being divine or having a son, which indirectly suggests that he did not have marital relationships in the context that would lead to offspring. While some historical texts and traditions outside the Qur'an speculate on Jesus's life, Islamic teachings focus on his prophetic mission and unique relationship with God rather than personal matters such as marriage.
